VIADUCT AND TUNNEL „ČORTANOVCI“ ON THE SECTION OF STARA PAZOVA – NOVI SAD

As part of the reconstruction, modernization, and construction of the two-track railway Belgrade – Stara Pazova – Novi Sad – Subotica – state border, the company Karin Komerc participated in several projects: construction of a viaduct at km 59 + 159.40, construction of a viaduct at km 51 + 423, 75, as well as works on the route of the railway from km 54 + 711.81 to 65 + 602.65.

The viaduct (59 + 159.40) is positioned at the exit from the Chortanovci tunnel. The left and right directions of the viaduct are structurally divided into a gallery, constructions A, B, C, D, E, and inserted constructions IB, with a total length of 2,913 meters. 240,000 m3 of sand, 178,000 m3 of concrete, 16,800 tons of reinforcement, and 1,770 tons of prestressing ropes were installed in this facility.

The viaduct (51 + 423.75) represents the railway bridge of the two-track railway Stara Pazova – Novi Sad, which bridges the local road Beška – Maradik and the water canal. The bridge structure was designed and constructed as a coupled structure with two connected box beams of a static system of a simple beam with a span of L = 40 m. Approximately 2,100 tons of reinforcement, 16,100 m3 of concrete, and 1,900 tons of steel were installed in the facility.

The project of the railway route from km 54 + 711.81 to 65 + 602.65 refers to the execution of a complex of construction and assembly works on the construction of: the lower part of the railway, roads, bridges, retaining walls, noise protection walls, landscaping, relocation and protection of existing engineering networks within the boundaries of the section from km 54 + 711.81 to km 65 + 602.64 and the Karlovacki Vinogradi stop.
